CASA KANE

Casa Kane is a rental house located in Hacienda Pinilla Guanacaste. Since the owner purchased the house over 10 years ago, little had been changed in the house's interiors, and as newer houses are now available in Hacienda Pinilla, and the market for rentals has become more competitive, the owner contacted us for an interior remodel and decoration facelift to modernize the look of the house. In the first stage of this project, the kitchen was moved to a bigger space, a new tv room was designed where the kitchen used to be and new furniture was custom designed for both spaces. A small terrace was enclosed with glass doors to house the new dining room, an additional bedroom with it's own bathroom was designed where the tv room used to be and the garage and storage was turned into a new bedroom to maximize the occupancy of the house, and the pool ranch was remodeled and made bigger. Floors were changed and the entire house was repainted to give the house more light and a more modern look. Besides the space remodel, we made a new ff&e proposal, with new furniture, bedding, decoration and lighting for the whole house. Some of the existing furniture (beds, nightstands and benches), was kept and will be changed in phase 2 of the project, and new furniture was custom designed and made for the outdoor terrace, pool ranch, new bedrooms, kitchen, and tv room. The result of this remodel / facelift is a fresher, more modern and lighter house with amplified occupancy capacity that is more competitive in the beach rental market.
